These days I’m devoting most of my time to writing. I’ve developed a passion and concern for the environmental predicament we find ourselves in, as well as exploring writing in travel and lifestyle areas.
Sabbatical
At the end of 2007 I decided to take a sabbatical and complete my professional RYA Yachtmaster. Since qualifying in 2008 I have sailed throughout the Mediterranean, eastern Atlantic and Baltic as a skipper and instructor. I spent a summer in Croatia and Greece working as a flotilla skipper, which was so much fun it was embarrassing.

The Turing Studio is a media production company based at the renowned Saul Zaentz Film Center. My roles included Writer, Producer and Project Manager on web and film projects, as well as company management.
Representative projects:
∑ Producer on Beyond the Call with Oscar nominated Director Adrian Belic. Beyond the Call follows the heroes of Knightsbridge International, a small humanitarian aid organization taking food and medicine into the world’s most dangerous places. ∑ Producer on The Secret Story a film exploring the ethnic issues surrounding the treatment of Italian Americans during WWII, directed by Judith Ehrlich – for the California State Library.

∑ Pre-production on Who Owns the Past produced by Jed Riffe.
∑ Production on California and the American Dream, a four part series on American History for KPBS, produced by award winning filmmaker Jed Riffe.
